6.6 Earthquake Hits South Shetland Islands

 A major 6.6 earthquake hit south Shetland Islands on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 13:40:18 UTC, at a depth of 10 km (6.2 mi).

Commentary:  When His disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of His return, He said, "Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places" Matthew 24:7.  The graph below shows just what a drastic increase in earthquakes we have had only since last year!
